Teacher Mentors Abroad

Sue Bruyns has been an educator with the Thames Valley District School Board for 35 years, with various roles including classroom teacher, Learning Support teacher, Vice Principal, Principal and System Principal. She is currently an instructor at Western University in the Faculty of Education, a member of the Strong Start (an Early Literacy Program) Board of Directors and a school board consultant focusing on supporting Multilingual Language Learners and Leadership Development.
Sue joined Teacher Mentors abroad in 2015 and was immediately impacted by the powerful work of this organization and the deep level of appreciation and commitment of the Dominican educators. She is currently a member of both the TMA Communications team and the Program Committee.
