Humane Society London & Middlesex was established as a non-profit organization in 1899 and exists to improve the lives of animals by providing temporary shelter and appropriate new families for surrendered animals. Throughout the years, HSLM have worked tirelessly to assist animals by providing them with a home until they can be adopted into a new family.  They rely solely on individual and corporate donations in order to provide care for animals in our community.
Steve has been the Executive Director since March 2018.  Steve’s background comes from working in Business, Media, Events, and for Not for Profits across North America. Steve is a member of Humane Canada, the Ontario Animal Welfare Network, and received a Legacy of Leadership Award from the Association for Animal Welfare Advancement (2019). Following the rebranding of the London Humane Society to Humane Society London & Middlesex (2019), Steve has been focused on continuing the growth and development of the organization and working towards building a 'New Home, New Hope' for HSLM in 2023.
