Our next LUNCH meeting is Monday January 8th at the Highland Country Club located at 1922 Highland Heights, London, Ontario. Price of this meeting is $30 per person. The meeting room will be open from 11:30 AM for fellowship. So.... please plan on arriving no later than 11:45 AM so that you have time to serve yourself and find a table to sit at. Our business meeting will start at NOON but no later than 12:15 PM. We will endeavor to end the meeting by 1:00 PM. As usual we need you to register for this meeting. The Registration Link will close at 2:00 PM Friday Jan 5th so that we can advise Highland CC regarding numbers. Please register as soon as possible but be sure to register before 2 PM Friday. After you have registered please arrange to e-transfer your payment to The Rotary Club of London at sronson55@gmail.com. Also be sure to put who you are paying for in your memo section on the e-transfer so that Sandy Ronson can track payments.
Our guest speaker will be Paul Howarth. Paul is the CEO of TVCC, an accomplished senior executive in the health services industry who focuses on creating and delivering the best possible client care. He has extensive strategic leadership, corporate planning and operations experience in progressive leadership roles and has cultivated a successful ability to navigate through times of change. Paul leads TVCC’s with a focus on exceptional client care and leverages collaborative partnerships to support clinical programs and close service gaps. Paul has worked in the healthcare sector for over 30 years holding positions at London Health Sciences Centre, Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital and Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll. Prior to joining TVCC, Paul was Executive Director of Merrymount Family Support and Crisis Centre, here in London. Paul received his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration degrees from McMaster University. He has volunteered at various organizations throughout London, Ontario and is passionate about service to the community.

Jim Swan's name has been added to the Honorable Ray Lawson Rotarian of the Year plaque for for the 2022-23 year of the Club. Presentation made by past president Rick Coates.
--OPPORTUNITY TO VOLUNTEER IN THE NEW YEAR--
Western Rotaract Day of Giving will happen on Saturday, January 20th, from 10 AM to 4 PM. Rotarians volunteer drivers are needed & will be responsible for driving Rotaract Club members to the clients' homes. Although not mandatory, Rotarians may bring tools (e.g., toolkit, ladder) and help with the tasks. Rotarians can expect to drive Rotaract Club members to 1-2 clients' homes, each assignment should take about an hour. Clients are informed of the time limit prior; however, at Rotarian's/Rotaract Club members discretion, they can stay longer than an hour. We will provide personal protection equipment (PPE) such as masks and gloves for everyone's safety. We have yet to decide on the location for the event. However, we plan to be near Western University with accessible parking. We will inform you as soon as we have determined the site. Here is the spreadsheet for Rotarians sign-up:
