--TO ADVANCE A BETTER WORLD THROUGH SERVICE BORN OF FELLOWSHIP AT ROTARY CLUB OF LONDON--
 
--AUGUST IS MEMBERSHIP & NEW CLUB DEVELOPMENT MONTH--
-a time to focus on Rotary's continuing need for growth, to seek new members and form new clubs-
 
--NO MEETING MONDAY AUG 16th--
As mentioned at the Club meeting Monday August 9th, there will not be a meeting next Monday August 16th. Instead we will be holding a Rural/Urban night on Thursday August 19 at the farm of our past-president Dianne near Ailsa Craig.  (Driving instructions will be provided next week to everyone who registers.) We are planning on barbecued hamburgers (with a vegetarian option) with corn and salads as well as a selection of beverages (beer, wine and non-alcoholic). Farm Tour starts 5:30pm (portions indoors)  Dinner starts at 6:30pm (outdoors unless it rains) We are asking everyone to register to attend (for both contact tracing purposes and to ensure we have sufficient food/drink.)

--BINGO FUNDRAISER HAS RETURNED--
Subject to the current indoor gathering guideline continuing, the Club staffed an event on August 8th and has a future date September 7th. Bingo committee member last worked a Bingo event January 12, 2020. Bingo has been a longtime consistent generator of fundraising for the Club.

Tree planting is currently scheduled for Saturday October 2nd, as the date approaches more details will be provided to Club members.
--SAVE THE DATE ROTARY EAST COAST KITCHEN PARTY-- 
The Kitchen Party Committee advises Friday October 8th as a probable date, please mark your calendars. This is a very important fundraiser for the Club.
 
 
Weekly Coffee Klatch
Since the Province has extended its Stay-at-Home directive, we decided to set up a weekly Zoom “Coffee Klatch” each Thursday from 10:30 to 11:15 am.
Bring your own coffee of course.e
