--PLEASE JOIN US FOR OUT NEXT MEETING ON MARCH 27th--
Our next LUNCH meeting is Monday March 27th at Highland Country Club (1922 Highland Heights, London, ON). Price of this meeting is $30 per person and it will be a self-serve light buffet. The meeting room will be open from 11:30 AM for fellowship and the buffet will also be available then. So.... please plan an on arriving no later than 11:45 AM so that you have time to serve yourself and find a table to sit at. Our business meeting will start at NOON but no later than 12:15 PM. We will endeavour to end the meeting by 1:00 PM. As usual we need you to register for this meeting. The Registration Link will close at 2:00 PM Friday March 24th so that we can advise Highland CC regarding numbers. Please register as soon as possible but be sure to register before 2 PM Friday. Here is the link to register. After you have registered please arrange to e-transfer your payment to The Rotary Club of London at sronson55@gmail.com. Please be sure to put who you are paying for in your memo section on the e-transfer so that Sandy Ronson can track payments. In addition to our guest speaker we will have a short Special General Meeting for Members to approve the RCL Local Community Service Committee's recommendation to provide funding to assist in the TVCC's acquisition of a new X-Ray machine for their Cleft Lip and Palate program.  This project is also recommended by your Board. So.... please plan on attending. I look forward to seeing you next Monday...
Our guest speaker on Monday will be Glenn Waterman.  Glenn has spent the past 20 plus years honing his skills in non-profit fundraising and marketing on both a national and international level. He has been semi-retired, for past two years, with occasional consulting contracts services in a volunteer capacity to the London & Region Association of Fundraising Professionals. From 2013 to 2020, Glenn served as the Vice President of Development & Marketing with the London based International Justice Mission Canada. Before that he spent 10 years leading fundraising efforts at Effect Hope, formerly known as The Leprosy Mission Canada and 5 years at World Vision Canada. Throughout his career travelling to India, Tanzania, the USA, Scotland, Ireland, Britain, and Australia. He came to non-profit work from a successful career managing major trade shows and conferences. Glenn is a graduate of the Master of Business Administration program at Schulich School of Business, undergraduate studies in business administration at Wilfrid Laurier University.  He holds the designation of Certified Fund-Raising Executive and is a certified Birkman Consultant.
