Our speaker on Monday March 7th will be District Governor Erin Shankie. Erin has spent her career working mainly with nonprofits and education organizations. In 2014, she founded a company focused on creating leaders who embrace unique perspectives, set goals, and foster positive team culture. Her work involves diverse groups of individuals in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors and concentrates on teams to provide organizational development as well as build leadership and communication skills. Erin is a lifelong learner and is currently pursuing her PhD in Organizational Leadership to accompany her Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Master’s degree in Education-Instruction, and graduate certificate in Leadership and Diversity Management in Sport. She has been trained in Sports-Based Youth Development (SBYD) and nonprofit leadership and facilitation. She is currently the District Governor for Rotary District 6330 and teaches youth dance. She is married to Dan and has one daughter, Emerson.
