Our meeting Monday August 22nd will be a "in person" meeting at Highland Golf Club (1922 Highland Height, London). Until we are back into a normal routine with respect to attendance, we are asking everyone to confirm their attendance using this link (note: deadline for this is Friday August 19th at 3:00pm). Doors/Bar will open at 5:30pm. Dinner is at 6:00pm. Our In Person meeting fee is $50/person (with dinner) or $20/person (without dinner) and payment options include: E-Transfer to Sandy in advance (preferred)--Cash (on arrival)--Credit Card (on arrival but least desirable)-- For those that attended the May 23rd meeting at Highland you will receive a $30.00 one time meal cost credit. HOLDERS OF PREPAID MEAL TICKETS-please locate and use to cover face to face meeting meal costs. After June 30, 2023 they will no longer be honored.

Our speaker on Monday August 22nd will be Belle Lumani, a Business Development Representative Spectrum Health Care for London Area and South Western Region. She was born and raised in London, ON to Immigrant parents who were successful Restaurant owners while she was growing up. Graduating from University of Western Ontario in Life Sciences she had a great career in Ottawa working in the hospital system. Belle moved back home to London in 2018 to take care of her parents after their serious car accident, and led her to a strong attraction to Home Care. She will talk about their mature caregivers that have the passion and experience to help seniors live independent and full lives, through various services including Companionship through friendly drop-in visits Driving assistance for errands and appointments and more.

Good afternoon, On behalf of Easter Seals Ontario, you are invited to join us at our beautiful Camp Woodeden for a very special centennial celebration. Our camps are both the hallmark and heart of Easter Seals Ontario, and they are the perfect place to come together and celebrate our 100th birthday with you! On September 17, 2022, our legendary and highly acclaimed Camp Woodeden will open its doors to Easter Seals supporters, partners, volunteers, and past campers and counsellors for a very special centennial celebration. We hope you will not miss this rare opportunity to discover, or relive, the magic of Easter Seals camps firsthand! The day will include a tour of the grounds, camp activity demonstrations, centennial celebrations, and a chance to connect with the Easter Seals community and camp alumni who have kept the magic of our camps alive. Since the Province has extended its Stay-at-Home directive, we decided to set up a weekly Zoom “Coffee Klatch” each Thursday from 10:30 to 11:15 am.
