--BENIN CANTEEN / KITCHEN PROJECT COMPLETED--
The canteen / kitchen project completion was a result of the activities of the Club's World Community Services committee.

Our meetings will continue to be on the second and fourth Monday of the month at the Western Fairgrounds in the GROVE MEETING ROOM #1. The meeting costs are $25.00 per person and will be a self-serve light buffet. The meeting room will be open from 11:30 AM for fellowship, and the buffet will also be available. So, please plan on arriving no later than 11:45 AM so you have time to serve yourself and find a table. Our business meeting will start at noon. We will endeavor to end the meeting by 1:00 PM. As usual, we were hoping you could register for this meeting. The Registration Link will close at NOON July 25th so we can advise The Western Fair regarding numbers. Please register as soon as possible but be sure to register before noon Friday July 25th. If you are registering yourself or any guests, please make sure you pay for the lunch, as the Club will get charged for the meal by The Grove regardless of your attendance. After registering, please arrange to e-transfer your payment to The Rotary Club of  London at sronson55@gmail.com. Also, be sure to put who you are paying for in your memo section on the e-transfer so that Sandy Ronson can track payments.
Our speaker on Monday will be Kris Dinel, Director Agri-Business Western Fair District. Kris has made his mark on the city of London throughout his career. Spending his first 17 years working in various roles within the Western Fair District, wearing hats at the Sports Centre, sales and marketing, entertainment, as the Fair Manager and now as the Director of Agri-Business, leading the overall strategy and vision of the agricultural mandate of the District.
Prior to his return to WFD, he spent 8 years nurturing two small businesses that unfortunately fell victim to the pandemic. Later working for Lennox Industries for three years as the Southwestern Ontario Territory Manager.
Away from work Kris spends time with his family, his wife Stacy for 20 years, and his four children. Each day starts early for Kris walking their two Labs. The London Community means a lot to Kris, he was previously a board member with the Chamber of Commerce and Tourism London and looks forward to spending more time volunteering within the community he calls home. Kris will introduce us to the present and future Western Fair District.
