PLEASE NOTE Our next LUNCH meeting is Monday April 3rd at the London Club located at 177 Queens Ave. We have had to relocate for this one meeting as our usual meeting place (Highland Country Club is not available for us). Our Guest Speaker for this meeting will be our Mayor - Josh Morgan. Price of this meeting is $35 per person and it will be a self-serve light buffet. The meeting room will be open from 11:30 AM for fellowship and the buffet will also be available then. So.... please plan an on arriving no later than 11:45 AM so that you have time to serve yourself and find a table to sit at. Our business meeting will start at NOON but no later than 12:15 PM. We will endeavour to end the meeting by 1:00 PM.As usual we need you to register for this meeting. The Registration Link will close at 2:00 PM Friday March 31st so that we can advise the London Club regarding numbers. Please register as soon as possible but be sure to register before 2 PM Friday. After you have registered please arrange to e-transfer your payment to The Rotary Club of London at sronson55@gmail.com. Please be sure to put who you are paying for in your memo section on the e-transfer so that Sandy Ronson can track payments.

TO PARKACCESS CLARENCE OFF DUNDAS AND TURN WEST OR LEFT INTO LOT #51. THIS LOT DOES NOT ALLOW ACCESS TO LOT #5 WHICH ABUTS THE LONDON CLUB BUT YOU CAN DRIVE OUT THE NORTH EXIT OF LOT #51 & INTO LOT #5. VERY LIMITED PARKING AT THE VERY SMALL LONDON CLUB PARKING LOT.
Mayor Josh Morgan was elected as London’s 65th Mayor on October 24th, 2022. Prior to that, he had served two terms as the City Councilor for Ward 7 being elected in 2014 and again in 2018 with support from 75% of voters.
Mayor Morgan was the first in his family to attend University after moving to London in 1998 to study at Western. During his time there, Morgan completed undergraduate degrees in Economics & Political Science, as well as an MA in Political Science. He is an active member of the London community serving in leadership positions on multiple boards and organizations. Previously served as the City of London Budget Chair for both the 2016-2019 and 2020-2023 multi-year budgets, stepping down from that role when he was appointed Deputy Mayor in December 2020. He is a current member of the London Police Services Board, Western University Board of Governors, as well as boards for London Economic Development Corporation, RBC Place, and Tourism London. In addition, Mayor Morgan is a member of Civic Works Committee, Community and Protective Services Committee, Corporate Services Committee, Planning and Environment Committee, and Strategic Priorities and Policy Committee. Josh has been happily married to Melanie, an elementary school principal, since 2007. They are proud parents of four children.
Meetings will be hybrid with Observe only capability via ZOOM for those that can't make it in person.
