Betsy Reilly is a co-founder and Community champion for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of London, Ontario – a partnership between the London Community Foundation and the Dollywood Foundation of Canada.   She is an adjunct professor in the Teacher Education program and the Advanced Studies in Professional Education program at Western University.   Her area of specialization is in literacy development at the elementary school level.   Her work with Teacher Candidates builds on her 32 years of teaching with the Thames Valley District School Board.   In her years of teaching, she recognized the power of books in the home and the effect of parents reading to children in the early years.   She formed the London affiliate of Imagination Library through a partnership between the London Community Foundation and the Dollywood Foundation of Canada.
