On Monday, February 13th our speaker will be Lisa Williams, Director of Program with Strong Start Charitable Organization. As the Director of Program, Lisa is responsible for overseeing the implementation, expansion and staff supporting our Baby Connections®, Get Ready for School™ and Letters, Sounds and Words™ programs. Lisa has over 30 years of experience in pre school and school age care and education. She served in the classroom in a variety of positions as well in numerous school board roles. Lisa has taught Kindergarten to grade 8 in Thames Valley District School Board as well as being a Learning Support Teacher, Elementary Vice-Principal and Principal. She has her Special Education Specialist and her Reading Specialist qualifications as well as a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. Lisa has been involved with Indigenous education as a supporter of the Indigenous Collaborative Inquiry provincial project and as a presenter at the First Nations Advisory Committee.
