Nafis Ahmed was born and brought up in Dhaka, Bangladesh till he graduated high school studying science. Then in 2016, he moved to Malaysia to get a bachelor's in business administration with a major in marketing from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). There he was exposed to an extremely diverse learning environment with his classmates coming from over 40 different countries.

Nafis started his career in Malaysia with a tech startup called UMAI as their Marketing Consultant. He spent 3 years with UMAI developing their brand and then managing their accounts in Denmark, Portugal, Estonia, France, and Germany.

Nafis then moved to Canada in 2022 to specialize in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, and Brand Management through wonderfully designed programs at Fanshawe College.

After coming to Canada, he joined BGC London (formerly Boys and Girls Club of London) aligning his knowledge, experience, and passion for community development to help provide more opportunities for success and wellness to the children, youth, and seniors of London community.

Nafis also learned extensively about Social Business directly from the founder of the concept, Nobel Laureate Professor Yunus. During his undergrad, he also kept busy participating in and organizing valuable events including HULT Prize (Global competition to address social issues and UN SDG Goals) and TEDx
