A Chance meeting and a Chance for the District. Terry Peters was the guest speaker at Monday's( April 28, 2025) meeting of the Rotary Club of London.
Terry brought us up to date on initiatives of Rotary to grapple with the impact of Climate Change. Terry is Professor Emeritus of Medical Imaging and Medical Biophysics and the School of Biomedical Engineering at Western University. But he cares deeply about the environment. During Earthfest day last year, Terry was manning a Climate Action London booth that happened to be next to David Knoppert’s Rotary display. A conversation with David led to Terry being invited to serve on the Executive of the District 6330 Environment Committee. So the chance meeting gives us a chance to learn and do something about climate change.
