Wow! A $50 MILLION USD Donation from a single Rotarian to The Rotary Foundation...Now that is what I call a generous dedicated member! A prominent Indian developer and longtime Rotary member, Ravishankar Dakoju, has pledged a donation of approximately US$50 million to The Rotary Foundation, describing philanthropy as “a duty.” Dakoju made the announcement during Rotary’s International Assembly in Orlando, Florida. The contribution will be made jointly with his wife, Paola Dakoju, who is also a Rotary club member.
