Our team of trained volunteers work in the hospitality area focusing on donor safety and experience. Volunteers greet donors with a smile, engage in conversation and ensure they feel at ease throughout the donation process. The care and attention volunteers provide whether ensuring they have refreshments after a donation, or just being there to ensure they are doing well are often why donors return. As one of the last faces donors see before they leave the donor centre, they can play a critical role in helping donors feel they’ve made a meaningful impact that day.
